UPDATE: The new BCV seems to have solved the problems, fingers crossed. I've driven about 100 miles with it and done some pretty aggressive pulls and everything's solid.

I ordered a new BCV to see if that fixes this. Only $30 from eEuroParts and they were having a promotion and it should be a quick repair. If that doesn't work I'd love to follow through with your suggestion. Thank you! I'll let you know.

FWIW I was about to buy the 16" BBS wheels that came as the winter package. The indy put them on and luckily I noticed that the front ones were jammed up against the caliper. I can't remember the exact model of the wheels but they were 16" and didn't even come close to fitting.
