Hello, I have a 2008 9-3. A working original key fob and key. Am needing to replicate the fob electronics. Is this something you can still do? Am in Colorado Springs but can drive up of course. Local dealer quoted me a crazy price, this after originally quoting me a far more reasonable price a few days earlier. Will await to hear. Tx, david
Hello, I am in the Denver / Boulder area and am possibly needing some tech II help for my 1999 9-3 Convertible. The convertible top system seams to be down and I was hoping to get a little help to see if the tech II could reset or diagnose it.
let me know, also you could text me at 410 236 3935, I am able to drive the car to you.
Another new member in need of Tech2 help here and the forum won't let me PM or email you ATM. I've got a 2006 9-3 Aero with possible ECM, ABS or CIM issues. If you're interested, I'm happy to pay. I'll PM/email you as soon as I have enough posts. If you read this before then please text or call (Three oh 3) (717) (niner 2 9 5).
I'm a new member here and saw that you were listed on the tech 2 thread for Colorado. I'm the proud new owner of a 04 9-3 and could use some help adding some new keys via the tech 2. Id be happy to pay you for your time and tools and I really appreciate any help you could offer. Shoot me a text or give me a call at 970-556-3735.
Sorry it took so long to see your message.. Been having a great time with my SAAB. Now, I am back and throwing codes that suggest that a new ECU is necessary. Could you get me in touch with your guy? Thanks a bunch man!

Hey Steven.. Good to hear from you. Whats wrong with the 1000 one? lol. 2003 Arc is the same as mine. Did you ever get the SID fixed in your other 9-3? I have one hell of a story about mine from last week. Let me know when you are free. Talk to you later
The used parts place is either of those shops I told you about. They both take and break down wrecks and saab scrap and have most parts. I get some stuff from Rockauto and if it is a SAAB OEM only part - I have bought from saabpartsonline.com. (You have to have the part number and use the advance search function to find anything, and they special order everything from SAAB direct (about 2 weeks to get stuff), but they are the cheapest factory parts I have found). I am pretty good at finding the obscure ones, so let me know if you run up against any parts problems and Ill look into the SID for you.
I hope you have a good weekend, and it would be fun to chill and talk SAAB so hit me up when you have some free time. You can also call/text me if u want @ 720.213.6655
That would have been me and my SAAB. Its a 2003 Silver 9-3 ARC - and the SID works .
I have bought coils from Autozone and Advance as well as RockAuto (prob the best price). I have not had a prob with any of them - just the origianal SAAB ones. I was replacing the coils individually, and only had one left. Mile Hi didnt charge me $450 for the cleaning - they also got me for a $99 diagnostic and they replaced two of my *new* plugs I had just put in (and claimed they were fouled already.. whatever) and they replaced my last coil - all in that $450. I still think it was expensive, but they got it running better than I could. They didnt even clean the injection system - they just did a BG 44 cleaning.
Hey man, no problem. I actually got my SAAB detailed at your Autawash like three weeks ago.. Funny coincidence.
I happened onto your thread because I was having a misfire problem as well. I ended up taking mine to Mile Hi Auto (after changing a coil and the spark plugs myself - to no effect). Anyways -A $450 upper engine cleaning later and its screaming again.
When I was talking about the Parker guy and I said he was kooky - I really meant that hes a dick and takes shortcuts in his work. I just didnt want to talk **** about the guy in public. I would recommend Mile Hi and I also found another one called East of Sweden in Broomfield (but have no experience with them).
Here is Mile Hi's info:
