Yo, bro, I decided to call my NG Ursala because that's the name of the German woman who sold the car to the original owner in Wurzburg, Bavaria. What's cool is, her business card is still in the owner's manuel pouch. Btw, I'm stoked 'bout the GTG.
Whats your e-mail address I'll send a pic. Also, you don't have to match paint or anything, the badges are adhesive only. You heat them up with a hairdryer until they are gooey and you *gently* pry off the letters. Use something like googone to get the remaining adhesive. Then polish with some good wax. Be EASY on it, don't scratch your paint. I used a plastic scraper. I recommend it 100%, it looks so good. The back of the 9-5 is elegant in its simplicity IMO, and the shape really translates sans-badging (also not a single person will be able to ID your car). The newer post 06 taillights half-disgust me, so the last MY 9-5 I'll be getting is '05. Itll be a while from now so I feel OK about it. Our 99 C230K Mercedes is also debadged.
