Default Fixed a few rattles

Found the source of one rattle in my overhead console. Stuffed a folded piece of newspaper in the crack in the image below. Rattle gone.

Also found that the Onstar case was rattling, so I removed the bottom and applied duct tape all around the edges. It rattles no more. Might be a good fix for those with subwoofers.

This is a GREAT toolset for anyone who will be working on this car

Has everything I've needed when working on this car.

You can either buy one or be a slave to your mechanic/dealer when you need repairs. Your choice.

Never have less than TWO working key fobs.

How did you remove the overhead plastic cover?

Grasp the forward most plastic piece (the one that wraps slightly around the mirror). Pull down on the front nearest the windshield. It will pop right out.
