1. engine mount beneath the airfilter box
2. transmission mount beneath the battery tray.
3. Torque rod in front of transmission/engine
4. torque rod in the back of transmission/engine
I don't know, but the north american mount and part# looks a bit different thant yours, and yes, the torque mounts can just replace the bushings at $30 a piece from the saabsite.
1&2 are the front mounts
6&7 are the torque mounts
Are the torque mounts difficult to change out? Anyone done them before? The Haynes manual pretty much says - jack the car up unbolt them and reinstall in reverse order. Is this correct?
Transmission mount left B207R 5 speed part nr. 13207582 or 12785084
(maybe 6 speed or auto ? ?
to the OP, becareful with these 2 part numbers as i'm going through this right now. 13xxx supposed to be the new part number to replace the 12xxxx, problem is they don't fit, you'll need a new bracket to mount the 13xxxx part.
i just sent the 13xxx mount back to the dealer because that's what they show according the the vin number, now they are seraching for the correct bracket since the 12xxxx is on back order:x
Hi Don-Peter
I ve been given the part no 9156932 to change on my saab 9-3 aero vert 2006.
This is supposed to be the rear transmission support...
Apparently there is two supports in the rear.... I want to make sure which one is the part number I ve been given.
or is it the case.. do we have 2 in the back?
that's good to know;ol;, and i see the #132078582 added as hydro housing in addition to 12785084 vibration damper, and that's exactly why the dealer sent me the wrong part, i had order the 12785084 originally and they keep saying thats wrong and sent m the 132078582 instead, and guess what? didn't fit.
maybe, just maybe this 132078582 is for 08 and up? as my dealer EPC part date back in 07 don't show this part number.
finally got an answer from the saab dealer(Hendricks Saab N.C.)) regarding the 132078582 saying:
quote: I just got off the phone with SAAB and you were correct the part number you need is 12785084; they had a catalog error so I apologize. Also the part is on backorder but I found a dealer that will sell it and I will get it coming for you and get it sent out to you ASAP unquote
Give Shaun your vin# and he'll tell you the correct part.
