Default 2t Bullnose.. 1964. V4 parts...? Questions..

Hi Guys,

I'm about to start a full renovation on my two stroke Bull nose and would like to upgrade / improve as I go..

1. Would it be an improvement to (if it would even fit that is..?) to install the later four speed trans from a V4 to replace the three speed trans in my 1964 Bull nose..?

2. Can you swap over the brakes to disc from the V4..? servo assisted..? Larger bore master cylinder..?

3. It runs a dynamo with the water pump piggy backed onto the back of it, if the alternator was used from a V4 what can be done to run a water pump..? electric..?

All advice greatly appreciated..

Cheers,

db.

P.s loads more question to follow...

Hi, and welcome! Unfortunately the vintage portion of Saab Central does not get a ton of traffic, and even fewer know the 2-stroke cars. Someone may jump on here and answer your questions, but you may also want to check out SaabNet (http://www.saabnet.com/tsn/bb/9x/). Another choice would be the Yahoo Mail VSaab group (https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/...o?guccounter=1). They have a ton of old-timers who know the 2-stroke cars inside and out. Good luck!
