Default '01 9-5 blown trans what replacement?

I might want to do some mods in the near future to up the power on this car. What transmission can handle more power? I think the cobalt SS uses the same trans, is that a stronger one would that be ideal?

Cobalt trans is not even close.. maybe to a new 9-3 with the ecotec global motor but not your 9-5.

How is your trans dead?

EBAY SAAB 9-5 trans can be gotten for around 300 ebay free shipping IIRC, it's worth taking a look at swaping the one you have.

The ECU is supposed to limit torque from a dead stop on the auto to prevent them from becoming big paper weights
