Default Battery dead....physical key won't unlock the door

As the title says. My battery is completely dead and when I put the key into the door lock and turn it the door doesn't unlock. Any suggestions on how to get into the car.

Finally got it guys. Come to find out the lock cylinder was binding up about 1/4 way through the key turn causing me to thing it had made its entire turn.
