We need specifics to diagnose the issue.

What browser/OS/device?

What were you doing at the time?

What error message did you get?

Did it provide a yellow box with code and text in it? If so, copy and paste it.

Was it consistent or intermittent?

Google Chrome, WIN10 (64 bit) Finnish version.
I just browsed the Saabcentral forum nothing more (I do not know multitasking).
Database error box.
No.
I do not know, because it was evening here (UTC+3) and next time I tried was next morning with no issues.

The next time this happens,

Can you grab us the error?
We'll look into it.

I had a few bouts of it yesterday. It does not give any error codes, just a nicely formatted page that basically says "Database error, please try reloading page, admins have been notified, but you can email if you want".

There was a trademark that may have been a V as the only real graphics on the page. I didn't have a chance to grab a screen capture.

I get a database error whenever searching within a thread. Error screenshot is attached. The message is not very specific, but a look at the db logs might show something.

This specific error is from the Tech II Workshop subforum, searching within the The official Tech 2 clone thread for "elan software". This is Firefox 62.0 running on Ubuntu 18.04 LTS.

EDIT: NM on the screenshot, the upload limit makes a window shot illegible.
Basically it says "Database Error" and recommends a page reload. That's about it. A page reload also fails.

No other details other than a request to reload the page?

Nope. Here's all the text from the error page. There's a mail link as well but no address.

The lack of any DB error message makes me wonder if the forum software is mangling the DB queries.

Going to bump this. I'm also receiving the "Database Error" screen whenever searching in thread, forum, or advanced search. Have been for a while, apparently.
