Question Engine swap

I have a 2005 9-2X and a 2001 9-5 with a bad torque converter. I was considering just swapping the engine and trans or just the engine, and putting the one from the '05 in the 2001 since it's newer and has fewer miles, but I need to find out if theres any reason that wouldn't work since it's pretty much the same engine. I was just concerned about motor mounts being different or something of that nature that might cause an issue. Thanks in advance for any and all ideas and opinions!

Why has no one replied to this!? The 9-2X is really a Subaru with a flat 4 engine. The 9-5 is a "real" SAAB with an in-line 4. No swap is possible.

Why do you care?

We all know the OP made a mistake and moved on over a month ago.
