Default what does this serial port do?

well I was looking to install new rear speakers on my NG900 because the previous owner took them out when we traded cars. Anyhow I could not find wiring for the speakers but I did find a serial port on the passenger side of the car where the speaker cavity is. What is that for?

I think you may have to take a picture or find on the web an equivelant image.

well I dont have a picture. But it really looks like a serial port that would be like a computer printer type style. and you can grab it from the passenger side rear speaker area.

Either the PO added this or he moved the connector for the trunk CD player.

Usually, a speaker needs but two terminals..
