Default SPAM in the forums?

Hey Mods:

I'm good with Mazda sponsored posts to pay the bills here, but are we really going to have to have BS like this in the forums?:

Brought this up last month and Ed said it was known and someone was looking into it.

"Hello there,

Seems like this is happening network-wide
We're aware of this and it's escalated.
Will provide info once we get an update on this.

Sorry for the inconvenience,

Ed"

These trash news / click bait links are in every forum alongside the Mazda links. They are from Upbeat News, or American News, or some other domain-of-the-week trash news site.

Bizarre. Never seen those. Can't see them now. I thought you meant banner ads across the top of the page.

But I did just try logging in using incognito mode (no AdBlock) and there they were.

Hello there,

Got some news on this.
These are an ad campaign that was sold incorrectly
The software that deployed these were out of date that won't allow us to retract them.
At the moment tech is working on getting them removed.
Also once the ad campaign stops, they'll be automatically removed.

Sorry everyone,

Ed
