Default ground points?

how many are there and where are they located? i only know of 2, the transmission one and the upper engine mount to head, how many others? i might as well cross the ground off the list of things that could be casuing my 02 sensor issues...

I might be wrong but if your o2 sensor has 4 wires one of them is the ground, so if it's not snapped grond shouldn't be a problem. If it only has three, ground should be supplied by the wire close to the dogbone.

There are 16 to 17 ground points on the 9k. The description is in the wiring diagram. There is one online.

its a 4 wire, but ive been getting p0130 (faulty o2 sensor bank one sensor one) no matter what i do. ive tried 2 different ecus, new sensors, checked all the wiring...next up is putting stock exhaust back on and clening the grounds.

remove your battery, you will see a whole bunch of little black wires leading to a ground point behind the battery box on the frame. There are also some other areas down behind the headlights and scattered in various locations. I remember finding at least 3 major grounding points when removing the motor and wire harness from the '91 9000 (this is not including the grounding strap on the dog-bone mount or the ground to the trans).

Look for vacuum leaks. I suggest spraying carb cleaner around suspected areas.

Where is there a ground point for an amplifier in the trunk of a 9-3 sportcombi. Ive tried almost everything and the only one that works is the truck latch
