Default Can I use 08 tail lights on a 07 combi

Like the look of these tail lights better. Didn't know if they would switch out. https://m.eeuroparts.com/Parts/73516...Side-12778453/

Well, when I put in 2007 model year it says the part does not fit.
Lot of changes between 2007 and 2008.
You might call eeuroparts and ask. If they don't know I would call Matt at esaabparts as he is very knowledgeable

Not surprised he knew. A SAAB guy, not just working for a SAAB parts site.

I have a 2008 and while I didn't necessarily like the clear look at first it has grown on me

Yes, you definitely can. There's a frosted Euro version too if you like that instead.

Matt says you can even buy the lights shell/housing and the attach the 06-07 led lighting packs to the 08+ housings so you don't have to buy a full light setup. Now just got to find the install directions in WIS

Made the swap..verified it works 100% for sport combis. Only problem I came across was the brand new light housings from orio messed up the metal plate for the lights current. It was not punched out properly in a dozen places when made and I had to snip a lot of the metal so there where breaks that allowed the electrity to flow correctly to light up the lights. I just looked at the old metal plate connections my old lights and followed where the breaks should be.
