Looks like some dudes had a lot of fun with their 900's. I can't believe that guy stripped down his own car. I wish I had some mechanical skillz

FWIW I'm not a Saab-o-phile, but accidentally found my way onto the team, and have since grown to appreciate the funky little Swedish born-from-jets meatballs.

I think that was the most inspiring bit of motorsports new I've ever read. I so desperately want to race in the 24 Hours of LeMons. Sure there are a couple less c900's in the world, but they were sacrificed in the pursuit of greatness! But I think running a 9000 would have been a better choice considering how robust they are.

I'm one of the drivers on the team. We did what we had to do to keep the cars running in the race. We were one of the faster teams out there, but unfortunately some people this time were not in it for the spirit of the event (and more about taking out the other cars around them). We will be back next year with at least two cars, and better prepared for, uh, a competitive crowd. Major, major props go out to our mechanics, Walter Wong, Hugo and Alberto, for keeping all three cars in the race. wow...that is too bad. To me that is an example of american awesomeness. That never-quit attitude is what I most admire about us americans. I love it when I read stories about people overcoming obstacles.

I am impressed that a bunch of guys got together and did what ever it took to make it happen.

I work far too many hours, but someday I hope to have a garage and learn to wrench my own cars....some people want to go on vacation, I want to learn to trick out my ride
