Looking for someone in Colorado with a tech 2. I truly do not want to get towed 3 and half hours away. Anyone willing to help will be paid of course. Thanks all.

You can either buy one or be a slave to your mechanic/dealer when you need repairs. Your choice.

Hey steve. I am in Park County. Well I had the steering wheel lock contact saab dealer error. So I bought a used Ism and new SCL. The Ism i think is bad. When I plug in the new one I just bought, I get nothing. Key won't turn and sid reads nothing. However, when I take that old one and reconnect it, I get the key not accepted and steering column lock. Reason I need tech is for the new SCL when I get it installed. Thanks.

Got the key not accepted message to go away. Unfortunately, steering lock malfunction make a safe stop still remains and key is not turning. I know I will need programming for the column lock. Does anyone know of a good thread about replacing the steering column lock? Thanks for the help.
