SaabCentral: 'Kodak meeting' - Sat 13th October 2007
About the Meeting

Saturday
13th October 2007 will see the 11th successive Kodak Car Club meeting in Harrow,
Middlesex. The venue is within easy access of the M25, M1 and A1. The day
will start at 10:00am with lunch planned at a local pub for around 1:00pm
and winding up around 5:00pm. There is a huge onsite carpark, so there is
plenty of room for everyone.
For those of you who haven't been to one of the Car Club meets before, the Kodak Car Club is a subsidised facility provided for Kodak employees and sponsored members (you do not need to be either to come to this meeting). The Car Club facilities include three workshops one of which has a full size car ramp. If you just want to have a look at the underside of your car or carry out any maintenance then this is the ideal opportunity to do so. Other facilities available for use on the day include, an oil dipsosal facility, engine hoist, bench vice, drill and grinder, plus an air compressor, industrial trolley jacks and axle stands among other things.
This
is the ideal opportunity to meet and chat with other like minded Saab enthusiasts/owners,
all of whom are extremely, friendly normal down to earth people. Tea, Coffee
and biscuits will also be provided all day. All we ask is a small donation
to cover the £30.00 cost of hiring all three workshop bays. All are
welcome and we look forward to seeing you there on the 13th October...
Directions to the Kodak Car Club
From the M1 southbound, turn off at Junction 4. You will then come to a roundabout. At this roundabout turn right following signs for Stanmore/Harrow. You will pass Stanmmore tube station on your left and then come to a set of traffic lights. At these traffic lights, carry straight on At the next set of lights bear left. After approximately 1/2 mile you will come to another roundabout. At this roundabout carry straight on and do the same at the following roundabout. At the next roundabout bear left until you come to yet another roundabout and carry on straight ahead. After about 300yds you will come to a very short dual carriageway. The entrance to the Kodak Car club is on your right approximately half way down the short dual carriageway. After entering the complex, bear immediately right until you see three sets of barriers. The two barriers to the left are the entrance barriers. Hopefully the barriers will be open on the day, but if not press the intercom button and tell security you are here for the Kodak Car Club meeting.

From the M3, take the M25 north to junction 16 taking the exit for M40/A40 London. Follow the M40/A40 towards London until you come to the junction for the A4005. Exit left following signs for Harrow. The A4005 becomes the A404 and in turn the A409. Basically this is a straight line right through to Harrow Weald from the A40. Once in Harrow Weald take a left at a mini roundabout into 'Long Elmes'. Continue to along 'Long Elmes' until you come to another roundabout. At this roundabout take the first exit left. After about 300yds you will come to a very short dual carriageway. The entrance to the Kodak Car club is on your right approximately half way down the short dual carriageway. After entering the complex, bear immediately right until you see three sets of barriers. The two barriers to the left are the entrance barriers. Hopefully the barriers will be open on the day, but if not press the intercom button and tell security you are here for the Kodak Car Club meeting.
