Engine hunts/stutters when idling.

Question: Guys, 900 S Convertible 2.0 ( 90K miles ) I have replaced the block in my engine after the original bent after over-heating. Its been rebuilt and all seems well on the motorway, but, when idling the engine seems to stutter or hunt and recover for a while, then, stutter again. Do I just accept this or is there a setup/timing/injector issue that could be causing this? Cheers, Neil
