Sensonic clutch problem

Details:

GM 900, 1997, submitted by Paul Redfern
Question: 900SE 1997 16v turbo convertible (Sensonic clutch) After driving in heavy traffic, with many gear changes, became difficult to change gear. Very stiff. ACS (Automatic Clutch System)warning appeared on dash. Managed to stop and with quite high force take out of gear. Auto clutch not working. Now engine will not start at all. Probably due to electronic inhibiting. Any advice very much appreciated. PS I live in Australia. Not too sure of spares availability or prices. Thank you.

Sounds like the clutch isn't clearing. We had aproblem lie this before and it turned out to be the ECM. The most cost effective option was to convert the car to a normal clutched vehicle. Contact your local SAAB dealer for details
