Technical Problem: In cold conditions the car mists up and it is very
difficult to clear the windows. I have followed the instructions in the
handbook to the letter, setting ACC to auto and 21 degrees, then to defrost
and then stepping up the temperature by a degree at the time. On a night
when the outside temp was around zero we drove for nearly 50 miles with the
windows misted up having to stop and wipe the windows frequently. I have
had the ACC system checked out by my Saab garage and no faults were detected
other than a faulty display which we have now replaced. We have
recalibrated the ACC in accordance with the instructions in the handbook,
but it has made no difference. Do you have any suggestions?

| I would make sure the recirculation motor is working on your heating system. Work the button on the heater control panel and listen to hear the motor run if it isn't running you may find that it is jammed and you are recirculating humid air. Cheers | |
