Default Took er the track! 2.0T

Man, I havn't had that much fun in a while! Took my 2.0T to the track with a bunch of friends tonight - loads of fun if you havn't been able to go before. Anyways, I got paired up with some boosted Honda - never got a chance to really look at it but he beat me by over a second. So anyways, here's the 1/4 mile time. Bone stock

Saab -
15.8954 ending at 88.8mph

Freaky boosted Honda -
14.6732 at 97.8mph

That's very respectable for a saab concidering they are built more for 40-70 times.

Most corvettes around here run 16.00 @ 85mph

Nice! I have taken my car to the track before, and my times were close to yours. I had winter tires on though. My time was like 15.2, but my trap speed was 98.something (power to BSR) So...you know what to do

If you can't beat them, shoot them. That's what I always say.

Ah so I could've shaved .4 seconds? I did shift quite early in to second gear, around 4200rpm's.

I thought the handling on the 2.8 wasn't as good as the 2.0T due to a heaveier front end
