I'm always interested to compare Hirsch's performance with other cars on road, and had an interesting one this evening.

Following a new Lotus Elise in outside lane of motorway and flashed him at 50mph, rather than pull over he booted it - he had a sports exhaust so could here him going for it - but kept up with him very easily until realised I was at 110mph and then backed off (crazy speed...)

No doubt there is no contest up to 40/50mph as they're so light, but kind of proud of my Aero...

The noise or lack of it when in the 2.8T is very deceptive, you do lose the audible indication of speed after a certain point and then you quickly realise what you are at and slow it on down.

Someone needs to slap on a full catback exhaust system and it will probably sounds pretty damn mean
