Good day
I regret not having a sunroof fitted when the car was new. I have seen some aftermarket ones, eg http://www.open-air-feeling.com/v_pr...holl300_en.php Has anyone gone this route, would you recommend it?. I understand that it does not affect the warranty unless any problems are caused by it. But looking at my car, the interior lights would have to be moved. I guess the sunroof fitters take care of that. Any advice appreciated! |

Webasto and ASC are the primary suppliers for almost all OEM sunroofs, I'm sure it's a quality product. As long as you get someone competent to install it, you shouldn't have any problems.

Indeed, I miss my sunroof too. Not many UK 9-3SS appear to have come with them...
My mother has a Hollandia sunroof fitted to her Subaru Legacy and I have to say it looks very standard and the fit and finish is excellent. I'd say give it a go, so long as you are comfortable with someone taking a can opener to your roof panel! |

I inquired at a reputable sunroof shop and the gent wouldnt do one because the 93ss roof is curved...said no aftermarket roof is compatable. Btw why are factory sunroofs so rare on UK and EU Saabs? I see totally loaded cars, but no rooves...what gives?
