After searching through the expansive list of electrical issue threads, I could not locate any that describe my issue. So here goes.....
While driving on the freeway at a constant speed, I will feel a slight jolt and everthing (headlights, dash, etc...) dims for a split second, and the voltage drops from 14.2ish to around 12ish. The voltage then rises back to 14.2 again. This happens about once every minute or so. No warning lights have come on during this. Anyone have similar issues? I was thinking about getting a new voltage regulator, but don't want to waste the money if it is not the issue.... |

I had the same problem. On the pos battery terminal, there is a smaller, but still thick red wire that connects to a junction box on the battery tray. The connection corrodes, causing the blip. Clean and grease the connection and you should be ok.
Also check connection at main ground. |

Thanks for the reply! I will give it a try on Friday and post with the results.
