Nope..I have no sunroof. Reason being, if you switch to #1 and then tune the radio to 98.3 it converts the car to a submarine, and I couldnt get the sunroof to be watertight.

The wires may be for reading ABS flash codes.

My ABS light has been on for sometime and I've wondered about being able to pull a fault code from the ABS ECU. This is the first I've heard of it from another Saab owner.

I know something is ABS down there... But i do believe hearing that the switches deal with the sounds system, maybe it only works for those who still have the clarion EQ?

Not since 1988; they made us do it once in ABS school. After that I always used an ISAT or ABS tester.
You'll need a manual to interpret the results anyway.
