4 inches overnight, wasn't snowing at 1.10 am when i went to bed. the gritters are out now 12pm bloody councils why do we pay our council tax

I was on nightshift last night, the gritters were out, over 200tonnes laid down in Coventry alone and the snow was settling on top of it. IIRC main roads are priority.

Currentlly on mightshift; I will make a choice as to whether I am going to attempt the drive to work toniight within the next 2 hours.

Light is failing, temperature is tailing & white stuff is re-accumilating.
