Has anyone noticed an O-ring when changing there air filter in the stock box? Haynes manual mentions a O-ring when changing the air filter.
The reason I ask is when installing a K&N filter it does not make a good seal, the I.D. of the filter is to large and does not make a seal there and the removable piece on the bottom of the box that the crews hold on has slots in it. Some Air will bypass my filter so I switched back to the factory filter. |

They are probably "universal" instructions, the only O ring as such is the seal on the access panel.

Your right I called the saab dealer the O-ring is for the acces panel. Anyway my K&N filter does not seal due to the slots or grooves on the acces panel?
