Just bought my first Saab a couple of weeks ago, a 2000 9-3 with 75K miles. The dealer put on new brakes (new pads and rotors all around). I am getting intermittent squealing from what I think is my driver's side front brake only when pressing the brake pedal. Sometimes it makes no noise, sometimes a fair bit. Seems like it is becoming more frequent (and consequently annoying). I have driven the car about 400 miles so far. Any ideas or suggestions?

JUST BE PATIENT! It'll go away. Try driving with your left foot on the brake slightly and with your right foot slightly on the gas-so you stay at a steady speed. this will speed up the process. Everytime I've had new brake pads and rotors- they squeek.

There is a break in procedure for these brakes; the dealer or pad manufacturer should have given you this info....
Otherwise, the squeal means little or nothing..
