The question that I have is what springs are better, The Jamex or the Intrax lowering springs. I have an 89 spg which is already lower than the stock 900. When they say that the springs will lower the car 1.7, is this from a stock 900 or the spg?

I am getting intrax springs with 205/45-16 tires. I believe, because they advertise the springs for all c900 turbo, that it would lower a regular turbo 1.7".

Is the SPG lower than the regular turbo to start? if so by how much? How do these springs compair to the SPG springs for ride? |

My vote is intrax! I used them for 4+ years & I was VERY impresed!! EXCELLENT ride & equally improved handling
With the proper shocks the ride will be MUCH better then the OEM SPG springs Your SPG springs I beleive ar .5 to .75 in lower then 900t springs

87 and later SPGs are lower than a standard 900 especially in the front, they have the SAAB roadhandling kit...intrax will drop an SPG about 1/2" in the front, they handle slightly better, and ride a lot harsher, but I like them

The ride is a lot harsher than the spg springs? how harsh, like rattle your teeth harsh? The spg one's are pitty stiff already.

excuse my I mean a little harsher, alot harsh than a 900 900s or plain turbo
, plus I do have bilstein sports, 55 series, v rated tires....may be a few of the reasons it rides hard (but handles AWESOME)
