I know the March is typically the snowiest month for Colorado, but I just couldnt stand it anymore. Had to put the 19's back on. It was just too nice of a day today to be sitting on the stock rims
xtremeoid: Cant wait to see how the Rims turned out!

Do I need hub centric rings if wheel bore is 66.6? Do they even make rings that go from 66.6 to 65.10 or would I need to have custom rings made?

And an update on my new wheels. Got them mounted and balanced today. Hopefully the USPS is good to me and my lug nuts come in tomorrow, crossing my fingers! |

Not in the size he needs. Just think about how small that ring is. If it's the plastic epoxy that most places have it would break. A ring like that needs to be made out of aluminum.

Thanks for everyone's help. I'm about the pull the trigger on the Miro 111 silver. They come in a 5x112 bolt pattern with a 35 offset. Planning on using wobble bolts. Hub bore is 66.6 so might try them without the ring as suggested, but will first contact motorsport-tech to see if they can even make spacer that thin.
I would really love to see them photoshopped on a titan gray aero. Anybody have the skills to help me with this? |

What a crappy day but the lug nuts came in and I put the new wheels on. Now all it needs is a wash. And still waiting on centercaps.

Just wanted thank some of the guys for their advice on wheels, tires and correct sizes. I ended up grabbing some 225/40R18's with my ASA AR1's. Does anyone just have lower springs and not coilovers? I wanted to get some opinions on lower springs for saabs, learn a bit more about the pros and cons. I'm sure there is a thread for it somewhere, but i thought I'd mention it along with my thanks.

Wheels look good. In general when it comes to lowering the car it's best to upgrade the struts as well. With that being said installing lowering springs only is not going to kill your suspension. In addition you don't have to get coilovers to lower the car. You can chose an upgrade strut by Koni or Bilstein and install those along with the new springs.

To rcsummers, more thumbs up on the european decals, and the wheels are a perfect match. Is that a 30mm drop?

Guys I need some help. I know some people are running 18x8.5 wheels. Is anyone running 18x8.5 with 45mm offset? I'm looking at some 18x9 45mm offset and not sure if they will be ok. They would run about 16mm less and I'm worried about them hitting the struts and all. Can someone help me out?

You are going to have 23mm less clearance on the inside towards the strut. So I would suggest getting under there with some digital calipers to measure clearance. I measured mine a while back, but I can't remember what it was stock.
Here is the link I used when checking to see if my wheels would cause any problems. I should have posted this earlier with all the "will it fit" questions on here. It will also tell you how far out your wheels will extend. http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp |
