Default turbo guage

i have a 9000 turbo and my guage seems to work but today i drove another saab and noticed that the turbo guage went down in the white area when its was on tick over and to the top of the yellow under throtle...

The question is should my saab turbo guage go down into the white area when ticking over as mine sites inbetween the white and yellow it doesnt go down into the white area..

Is it should have you got and ideas of what could be wrong..?

That is functioning correctly.

On tick over there is no boost. Under acceleration there is boost so the Turbo gauge moves.
