Moderator resignation

For all 9-5 owners who have been here over the past few years, you'll have noticed the amount of help and time spent by Chris 9-5 helping out other SAAB owners. Due to personal reasons Chris has decide to resign from his moderator role with immediate effect.
Moderators often get called heavy handed or dictatorial for editing/deleting threads but rarely get the recognition due for the unpaid time they spend helping others, Chris was always on hand to help, often with a jovial remark to lighten up a subject, his input will be missed by both Rob and myself. Take care fella and don't be a stranger.

I think that I can speak for all of us in saying that Chris' help and good sport has been invaluable to us all. Let's just hope that he continues to participate, if not in the role of moderator, as an active member of this forum.
(Just don't go and buy a Bimmer Chris! )

I dont own/know much about 9-5's, but I loved Chris' car. He actually helped me on occasion even though I dont own a 9-5. Thanks.

As others have said lets hope he visits and participates regularly with his informative advice (I taught him all he knows) and his unique humour.

this is a sad day indeed, the guy is a legend and seeing his car was an inspiration for my 9-5. i'd wondered why his absence was so long as normally his time was taken by helping us owners with info and a joke to make things seem better, will miss you chris you know where i am mate

The unofficial "King" of modding 9-5s has left the building. Its a day I hoped would not come, but good luck in whatever endeavors you may undertake Chris. You really inspired and supported the entire community here. I'm not sure if this place will ever be the same.

not something you see very often. hopefully chris 9-5's personal issues are worked out and he can still be active in the saab central community. definitely provided valuable contributions and had a good sense of humor.
