Torque limiter

what is the torque limited to in firswt and second gear, and is this in the ECU, so say i get a new ECU, will this be eliminated....

I'm not sure what the torque is limited too, but not all of the torque is restored with an ECU upgrade. I've heard that the Abbott ECU restores 50% of the torque in 1st and 2nd.
