Default Turbo Boost Fault

Hi All

I just got a 900 16v full blown turbo, its been going ok, but not boosting in to the red (is this normal?) I have just recontected a pipe to the vacume resevour in the drivers side wing, (white plastic bottle thing) so all the heating controls now work, however the boost has now gone rather strange, sort of lumpy on/off boost (dont know if that makes sence...) could the fact that I have re conected the vacume pipe to the plastic resevour, caused this strange boost probluem... and if so what can I do in order to have both heater controls and full boost pressure ???????????

Any Ideas..

Hi,
There is a check valve in that vac bottle that keeps vac in and boost out. This valve gets tired. When mine did this I just got an in line check valve. Any auto parts store will have one. A stock 16 valve turbo will boost to the intersection of the red and yellow unless it has an APC nad that computer is modified.
