Does anyone know of a good repair forum like this one but for Chevy or GM Vehicles?
I've got a 2000 Chevy blazer with the 4.3's screwy A/C compressor on it. Its a really bad design, it has a seam around the middle, and has major seal failure issues and yet they don't make a seal kit or rebuild kit for it. So I was going to see if maybe anyone else had perhaps came up with a better fix than just replacing it, $500, and waiting for it to go out again in a few years. I'm thinking there has got to be another compressor that would retrofit in, maybe a earlier year model with a more reliable compressor design or something. Cheers!
