Hello all.
I have just purchased my first Saab 900 Turbo SE and have a few technical queries. I hope I am in the correct forum. Its a 97 and am hoping to fit a boot changer. The stereo has the C.D button so can I assume the wires will run through the car when manufactured, so then its a matter of finding a compatable disc changer and connect it up.Or is that wishfull thinking. You'll want to purchase a Clarion DC625 CD changer. You can pick them up on EBay, fairly inexpensively. The necessary cable is already in the trunk; you'll have to pull back the trunk liner to find it. It's on the driver-side (LHD), just behind the shock tower. On mine, it was also zip-tied to the harness for the power antenna. After that, it's plug and play.
