Default Dynamat sound insulation

While I am on the warpath to purge my 9-3 of shakes and rattles, I was wondering whether anyone here has experience of using Dynamat sound insulation material. One of the sources of buzzing/shaking noises comes from the doors of my car. Therefore wondering if I take the door cards off and fit some Dynamat Extreme pads make take these away. Just a thought at the moment.

Dynamatted one door. Could not notice any difference in rattles or sound quality.

Still have one door DM'd, the other stock.

The rattles are ON the panel, not behind it. The poor sound is mostly due to poor speakers.

Thanks for that.

Do you think it would be possible, or have value, in Dynamatting the door trim on the reverse - to 'hold' it all together?

Any other ideas?

Usually some soft foam on the inside of the panel works to combat buzzing. It's vibrating against the rain shield plastic.

I don't have rattles, but I did use Dynamat (or a clone) on my car.

I have a convertible with a handsfree unit. I Dynamatted around where the saab mic is located on the Pilar. Appears to have made a difference in sound quality others hear.
