has anyone disabled the key lock function on the 9-3? i want to run a turbo timer but since the only way to get the key out is to have the car in reverse, theres no point in having a timer...

I don't know how to do it but I do know of one person who has. He installed a T3/T4 turbo and it is not water cooled so he needed to add a turbo timer. Here is a link to his site and his email address. http://www.personal.psu.edu/users/m/p/mpk155/
If you are planning this for the stock turbo it does not need a turbo timer. As long as you change the oil often it will last a long time even in higher output conditions. |

i know its not required, but it never hurts  whenever i tracked my vw mk4, temps would reach pretty damn high with turbo glowing like a red light, thanks for the link
