New Member here.


Just like to say i have spent the last hour or so reading all these questions and learnt alot.

Only got my Vector Sport 06 on Sunday so still experimenting and finding out all the features.

My query is similar to a few others regarding telephone connection..My car has a nokia bluetooth kit fitted which i have to press a button to answer incoming calls but the steering wheel buttons for call and PTT are not functional . The SID indicates "telephone" even though there is no phone option on my main display unit (green screen) and im just wondering if there is a way to enable the steering wheel controls and possibly the phone keypad numbers?

Also is it only the newer models that allow phone contact list etc to be displayed . (My friend has a 2008 180TTid which has this but no 6.5" screen etc so guessed it could be a module that can be retro fitted)

Really, really stupid question, I'm sure. But the manual says to use CHF 11S power steering fluid. I can't find it anywhere; is it OK to use a different power steering fluid? I picked up a bottle of Prestone, but I'm afraid to put it in my car. lol

EDIT: And also another stupid question: I'm pretty sure that I have the 13-speaker stereo system in my car, but I'm not exactly sure where they all are. Does anyone know just exactly where all 13 speakers are?

I'd stick with the recommended fluid. You can always get it at the dealer.

5 speakers in dash (2 tweeters and 3.5" drivers on left and right, 4" center.)
2 6.5" in doors.
6 speakers in rear shelf. 2 more tweeters with 4" drivers along with 2 6x9's.

5+2+6=13

I found Pentosin CHF 11S at Napa. I searched everywhere and forgot about the local Napa. Always the last place you look.

Same here, but to the posters question if you do go to Napa mine didn't have it instock and didn't know what I was talkin about until they looked in the computer... they then ordered it in for me. so you might need to tell them to look it up

So I should be able to see the six speakers by looking inside my trunk, correct? Because all I can see are four, two on the left and two on the right.

if you can see the 6x9s, you have 13 speakers. I dont think you can see the tweeters from the trunk.

Metal or rubber valve stems?

OK this has to be the stupidest question ever asked. I have a 2004 9-3 Arc with the Vector 17" wheel package. What does my car have? Metal or rubber? I am ordering new tires just in case you need to know why I ask such a dumb question.

just walk out there and look at it. if the stems are metal like the cap, theyre metal. i believe the TPMS cars are metal, which is why tirerack asks you that.

See, told you it was a really stupid question. Having said that I dont think my car has TPMS.

I have RKIIs on mine with Metal stems and I don't have TPMS. Not sure if that's the case.

Judging by the tread pattern on this tire is it possible to rotate these tires?

easiest way to know, is to look at the sidewall of the tire it will say if its directional or not. Even so it can still be rotated just not in the normal pattern.

Quick question about the t8 turbo in my 93 ss 2006 vs. The mitubishi turbo in the vigin 2.3

1999. What is the psi running stock in both and how can I adjust my t8 to push more psi in

my turbo.

My turn. I noticed that the tire size/pressure placard on the inside of my driver's door says the cold air pressures for my tires is 41 psi and 42 psi front and back (maybe not in that order). That seems real high. Does anyone run their tires that high? These aren't OEM's on the car either. Anyone?
