No surprise here, but, I'd like to fix it.
I was thinking of shaving the high sides of the cracks and fairing it out with 5200 marine caulk in black. This is for starters... I'd love to cover it in some sort of textured pleather like product like the stuff on the Mini Cooper. Can this be done easily? This would be DIY as I aint rich and am already paying for parts some idiot damaged. Pulling into a parking space someone took out my rear bumper and broke the driver tail light. Cops said it's my fault! My fault for not getting out of the way fast enough as the guy entered the lot at like 20 mph???? $350 for a bumper cover Tailight from e-bay... $20 delivered!

there's a thread on here where a guy goes into pretty good detail about re-covering his dash - search for "the dash epic" - I think it was matt88s -

Someone told me to use vinyl top adhesive. I haven't had any trouble with what I used but I would think vinyl top adhesive would probably work better. Make sure you use a quality Naugahyde, you can get it in all different kinds of colors and textures but make sure it is automotive and marine quality. Good luck!
