There should be a lever on either side of the back of the seat. Pull on those and it should unlatch and fold forward, you might want to slip you headrests off first so they won't get in the way when you fold it down.

sometimes the latch is hard to move(according to adjustment) light back pressure towards boot area will relieve pressure on mechanism and it will come forward easily, reverse this theory if seat is hard to engage locking mechaism

Default bottom part wont fold

I can get the back part of the seat to fold down fine but the bottom part (part you sit on) wont fold foward. Because of this you can fold the seats flat. Can anyone tell me how to get the bottom part of the seat to fold up please?

There's a small strap you need to pull on, dig down in the center of the middle seat crack on the backseat. This strap pulls the release on a latch releasing the bottom portion of the seat.
