Just have to remember that last year in June GM started the employee pricing for everyone marketing blitz, so for the next couple months 2006 to 2005 sales will be much lower.

Used this chart on the blog this morning. As mentioned above, big spike followed by big fall. If Saab USA can ride the year out then we should end up with something approaching last year's numbers or hopefully a little better.
Won't have the rises of UK or Sweden though.

People in the US are a bit predictable as far as what times of the year they buy cars, any kind of car so I would imagine the spikes and drops will reflect all manufacturers in the US to some degree. Spring time and fall are early summer, usually right at the change of each season is when people seem to buy. My girlfriend works for Keeler in Albany, does all their highering,(that word didn't look right?)) they own 7 dealerships in the area so I have access to some of the sales numbers, well she does and if I ask shows me some of the past months or years graphs.

don't forget GM had had some killer deals during that spike as well, employee discount, no hassle pricing etc etc
