Default 900 boy loved the 9000 for a couple of days

Guy,

I had a Abbots lend car for a couple of days, a 9000 mildly tuned.

It was a joy to drive, I was pleasantly surprised the power was good and the motorway cruising was excellent

I'll look down my nose at the 9k no more

kie

Great to hear that, kie

It's always good to widen your horizons. I drove a C900 for the first time ever a couple of months ago and it was gobs of fun - much more than I expected. Shortly after that, I drove a 9-3 (tuned, of course) and was well impressed, and also with the tuned 9-5 auto I drove on the same day.

I too will no longer look down my nose at other Saab models.

I must admit, driving the 9000 Carlsson I owned for a day back from Maidenhead last weekend, even with the head gasket on it's way out, I was pleasantly surprised how well it handled, the power and comfort plus of course lots of toys!

That was the first time I had driven a 9000 Ummmmmmm.....

Simon.

I know this may be blasphemy to some of you c900 owners, but I'm considering eventually trading my c900 for a newer 9000! Keeping my rims if I do, though!
