Found: 3 Manual Transmissions

Ok this borders on advertising, but it isn't. I needed some same parts heard of a guy who said he had 10 parts cars. Was looking around, saw 3 900 manual transmissions on a shelf. Ask about them and they are available and good.
Ok that's it. Except that they are in Massachusetts. I've never done business with the guy before. I'm getting nothing back. He wants about $1500 each. It is a transmission shop.

I paid $50 for my last one. Yeah it's steep. If you're not a grease under the fingernail type. It could be useful. That's the only reason I posted it.

any reasonable dealer should get you a factory rebuilt for around $1350 so yes, that's steep! consider that factory rebuilt units are updated as much as possible and have a 1 year warrantee.

I thought the aftermarket ones made by Jorgensen? or what ever he is called cost £1500?


I would not buy a brand new box unless it was cheap, its life expectancy is not warranted at all, if you 200k miles your lucky.

At first I didn't read the last 0. I was like "$150, that's pretty dang good!" Then I realized my mistake. That guy is insane unless he's offering a 1-year warranty with it (as other companies offer at similar prices).

In Canada it is $3,100 in a box next to the car, then it has to be installed.
