Default cd/amp/subs help

hello all

i just recently purchased a 98 saab 900-s turbo 2 door and was wondering the tools i would need to purchase for installing a cd player (in-dash) an amp, and 2 subs. i live in the u.s. and any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

welcome to the forum! you will need a radio removal tool for the factory unit. this can be purchased at your local Wal-Mart for about 5 dollars. as far as tools are concerned, you will also need a T27 torx driver. Saabs come with one, usually, and it is probably in the spare tire well. an easy way to connect an aftermarket radio is to buy an aftermarket connector for a "1987- VW." that will set you back b/w $12 and 20 dollars depending on where you get it. there are quite a few posts on stereo upgrades on this site if you need more info.
