My turbo on my 91' 9000 has been smoking pretty bad at idle and I figure it's time for a new one. I can get a td-04 for the same price as a t-25 but my question is what else do I need to make the switch? Is the exhaust manifold the same? Oil lines? Exhaust down pipe? Thanks

The manifold and downpipe are the same, I think, but you need to change the oil and water lines plus the actuator and to get the benefit out of it you need an aero ECU or a remap.

Where can I get oil and water lines from? Can I just make some up with materials at the local auto store? My ecu is chipped with the saab performance fuel eprom and apc upgrade. I contacted them and they claim this configuration will work better with the td-04.

Oil and water lines should be a straight swap, and as you have already mentioned the chips will work okay, in fact the standard APC will work as well. |

the bango fittings on the td04 are smaller than the t25 so you will need to replace the lines
