Default temperature sender

broke the temp sender...umm...there is 2 on eeuroparts.com....which one do i get? the 30 dollar one or the 17 dollar one? mine is a 97 cs....which one is it?

Do you mean you broke off the little nipple bit that goes in the head? If so, all I did when I did the same was to drill a small hole in the brass end and then solder in a bit of wire onto which I attached a normal spade terminal.

It depends on your engine number, which depends on when your car was manifactured (before or after mid '97). I guess the easiest thing is to read the code on the old sensor, since I can't tell where the engine number is.

grr...my sensor is on the block still, so i cant take it out yet and im in school so i cant even try to take it out noww....oh well...i guess ill take my chances
