http://www.abbottracing.com/2003/tun...0_gearknob.htm

Note that it's BIG! (the knob) (ooh-er I mean the shifter knob!) and the Ebay chistmas baubles don't fit.

that's kinda sad that the only two options for new shift knobs are stock and that one. i mean the reverse lock out is not a complicated mechanisim someone should be able to come up with more knobs or a way to put normal ones on it and not throw it into reverse every time you want 5th

i have to agree , i have an abbott racing knob ( the old shiny type )
although abbott advertise them on their website , they arent actually make them anymore .......... but heres a thing . If you want the dimensions , the abbott racing gearknob is a very very simple thing .

its a hollowed out piece of aluminium . simple . you have to cut your existing gearknob to bits and glue it over your original .

rubbish eh ?

but it does mean you can get one done yourself .

You can get a replacement leather knob at a good price at genuinesaab.com.

I got one and took a mold of the insert, so i can make some custom graphics for some friends, should look neat when I am done.

if you really want aluminum, you can probably get somebody to make you one custom???

On the hollowing-out theme:-
