Yep that was posted rescently (i think, did'nt look at the vid just the description) I think it's an 8v that's been tuned to well over 300bhp , i'm not sure what's been done to the car, must have electronic FI & ignition + loads of other goodies i'm sure.

Looks like an Evo spoiler on the back, not as nice as my 9000 Carlsson spoiler, but hey you can't have everything!

Not yet, it's sitting on a window sill at the moment! I've got to take the boot lid off and clean it up a bit, reweld the seam, remove the old foam spoiler, clean it up and mount the 9000 one, just needs a bit of adjustment where it bolts in to get it to sit properly.

They are a perfect fit aswell, maybe 1cm wider than the standard spolier at the most, very similar to the 2 door 16S bridge spoiler, just not quite as rare.

I've got a sheet load of stuff to do to my car, i've filled my spare room with car parts! Just waiting to hear whether i can rent one of the garages behind my house or build a gate to my garden so i can start some serious Saab'ing again.

Got my MOT comming up next month aswell, def need to do brake pads, back disk's & a couple of CV boots to get it through .


That's as far as i've got so far, just popped it on top of the nasty foam black/green thing to see if it would fit OK.

The pictures I have shows he's put a common rail and 4x further injectors for "fill-in fuelling", along with the k-jet system ... 8x injectors 8) The rest will be bigger turbo and some kind of hybrid k-jet and electronic FI whatsit.

He used to be at something off http://www.blyfot.nu ... blyføt being "lead foot", but I can't find or think of the url beyond that.

Sounds like maybe a merc V8 k-jet with 4 standard injectors and a 2nd bank of solenoid triggered injectors, maybe k-star or megasquirt controlled?

Which country is it from? I may post something on one of their Saab sites to see if anyone knows the spec.

Yea, definitely, along with all this!

Hopefully i'll either get one of the rented garages behind my house or if not put a gate on the bottom of my garden, then the fun starts, complete the performance stuff and then strip the body of rust, reweld/fill, prime & full respray! I ment to do it last year just did'nt get around to it so hopefully this summer.

.nu - I think he was Norwegian. I asked about the car on 900 Aero and Widde found him pretty quickly. I can't find my post now Maybe when 900 Aero is a little quicker, I can find it

Mate, those floorboards are nice. You can get the cracks filled with latex, linseed oil the lot and the latex disappears into a really nice wood finish. Laminate cracks and a few dozen high heels over it will leave it looking like yesterday's lunch Wood is very warm. I find my wood floors warmer than carpets in our Pennine temperatures.

Your fireplace will do up well ... just pull off those long tiles and re-do with something stylish. Or repair what's there and kind of make a joke of the style and/or era with other furnishings. I have a set of steps from my front room (front house of a pair of back-to-backs) to my back room (rear of the two back-to-backs) that looks like the descent into an Egyptian tomb. I've mounted a pair of black cats either side of the steps as a kind of joke. Everyone loves it, though You can hide retro-styling by sneering at it.

I like the spoiler. Of tuners, not unique. Of Saabers, very unique. That car looks and performs. Every scenechange in that movie resulted in an audible "Good God!"
