Default blow-off valve

I want to put a blow-off valve on, but i was told that if i dont put on a different wastegate i will loose all my boost is this true

no its not true....i have the forge BOV and have no problems

who told you that? they dont know much about FI....wastegate has little to do with BOV...any one will work, anyone that fits the VW flange, that is. otherwise, weld it on and plug the old hole. Or just disconnect your stock DV
